Attractions at the event include a percussion tent, an arts and crafts marketplace. Artisans will be selling handmade jewellery, clothing, and decorative accessories. Live dance performances from the International Folk Dancers and the Veracruz Dance Group and entertainment for the kids will be provided.
Booths At the Fleetwood Multicultural Fair & Market
The multicultural fair at the Fleetwood Community Centre is the place to enjoy fun for everyone in the family. In addition to live music and great food, there will be art displays, poetry, book signings, and a cafe. It’s the opportunity to buy handcrafts and merchandise from Fleetwood merchants and those around British Columbia.
The Highlights of the Fair
The Fleetwood Multicultural Fair & Market is the oldest free and one of the most colorful events for families held by the Latin Summer Festival. The festival is known as the “Original Latin outdoor city celebration.” The fair features food pavilions and an outdoor marketplace that surround the large stage where performances take place all day.
Presented by Latin Summer Fest and Wired Monk Organic Coffee Shop, the Fleetwood Multicultural Fair & Market promises to be a fun filled event for everyone that attends. Wild Monk provides a venue for musicians and artists. Additional sponsors for the cultural event are Latinos in Action Society, Inside Kolors, and the Kárà-Kátà Afrobeat Group.
