The Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair in Surrey is one of the largest rodeos in the country. This annual event is geared towards the entire family; children especially enjoy the parade and entertainment while adults tend to be more interested in the competitions, the various exhibits and the trade show.

A National Celebration In Canada

If there’s one day that Canadians of every culture and creed love celebrating, it’s the nation’s birthday. On July 1 Fleetwood, Surrey and basically everywhere in Vancouver will be enjoying Canada Day. Children and adults can go on a wide assortment of rides, and there are plenty of musicians and other performances to occupy the day. Once the sun sets, the City of Surrey will host a fireworks show that is always a crowd favourite.

One of the largest events of the community is the Surrey Fusion Festival. This event has numerous booths for shopping, delicious food and musical performances to suit every taste. From timeless acts such as Bruce Cockburn, to newer local favourites Hey Ocean and even the Cedar Hills Caledonian Pipe Band, the Fusion Festival – which runs from July 19 to July 20 – can’t be missed.
