Surrey Urban Farmers Market: A New Location for Summer

The Surrey Urban Farmers Market has a new location in place just in time for their summer season, which begins in June and lasts until October. Moving to the newly built Civic Plaza behind City Hall at King George Blvd and 104th Avenue, the Surrey Urban Farmers Market will have a larger and more modern space with this new plaza, which is scheduled to open in May. When the season begins, you will have the opportunity to get your fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, meat, and dairy products here every Wednesday from noon to 5 PM. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy some local musical talent while you do your shopping, so if you and your kids love live music and great food, the Surrey Urban Farmers Market will be your favourite weekly excursion.

The Look and Feel of a Farmer’s Market: Fresh Street Farms

Okay, it’s not actually a Farmer’s Market, but it certainly looks and feels like one, and it has fresh and locally produced items, too! Fresh Street Farms recently opened its doors in Fleetwood Village at 15930 Fraser Hwy, marking its second location after opening its first in West Vancouver a year prior. With an incredibly large space, Fresh Street Farms carries a wide variety of unique and rare products, including local items like hormone-free and B.C.-raised organic chicken as well as locally grown organic produce.
